How CalMov works

Build a schedule around the journeys you actually make.

Ordinary booking tools see an empty space in the calendar. CalMov also considers where you are coming from, where you are going next, and whether the customer's appointment fits between those journeys. Automatic travel pricing can also add a customer travel charge based on distance or estimated journey time.

From setup to booking

Four steps to more realistic availability.

01

Create your services

Add what customers can book, how long each service takes, and the price you charge. On Plus and Pro, choose distance or journey time and set your travel-charge brackets.

02

Set your real availability

Choose your working hours, how far ahead customers can book, the gap between start times, and where you travel.

03

Collect the customer location

CalMov uses the booking address and surrounding appointments to understand the journey the slot creates.

04

Show only workable times

Customers see appointment times that fit your service duration, working day, existing bookings, and required travel. When travel pricing is enabled, the booking review shows the applicable travel surcharge and total before confirmation.

Automatic travel pricing: decide how much to charge for the journey

Your service area controls where you go. Travel-aware scheduling controls when a visit can fit. Automatic travel pricing on Plus and Pro controls the additional travel charge, using your distance or journey-time brackets for the one-way trip from your business base to the customer. Set the brackets and enable travel pricing in Services; keep your diary protection rules in Availability.

Worked example

A worked travel-aware booking example

Imagine a confirmed visit ends at 10:00 and the next one begins at 12:30. A customer requests a 60-minute service at 10:45. The empty space looks large enough, but CalMov also checks whether you can reach the proposed address after the 10:00 visit and still reach the 12:30 customer after the new service.

  1. 1Check the journey from the 10:00 customer to the proposed address.
  2. 2Reserve the full 60-minute service duration.
  3. 3Check the onward journey to the confirmed 12:30 appointment.
  4. 4Show 10:45 only when all three parts fit your working rules.
