Travel-aware booking for US mobile businesses

Booking software for US mobile and house-call businesses.

CalMov helps businesses that travel to customers take online appointments without treating every free-looking space as bookable. Customers enter their ZIP code and address first, then CalMov accounts for the service and the drive time around it before showing times they can request.

ZIP-code-first online booking

Ask for the customer's US ZIP code and address before showing availability, so their location is part of the scheduling decision from the start.

Drive time on both sides

Protect the drive from the previous appointment and toward the next confirmed booking, including the travel contingency and service buffers you choose.

Illustrative US booking flow

How a mobile auto detailing request can fit between two jobs

Imagine a solo mobile auto detailer has one morning job and one afternoon job already confirmed. The times below illustrate CalMov's checks; they are not a claim about current traffic or actual drive times between these ZIP codes.

  1. 1

    The customer shares the location

The customer chooses a 90-minute exterior detail, enters a 78703 ZIP code and supplies the complete address where the vehicle will be available.

  2. 2

    CalMov checks the incoming drive

The previous booking ends at 10:30 AM in 78704. The business's chosen settings allow 20 minutes of drive time and 10 minutes of contingency.

  3. 3

    CalMov checks the next drive

The proposed detail would end at 12:30 PM. The next confirmed job starts at 1:30 PM in 78701, so that onward drive must fit as well.

  4. 4

The booking time gets a final answer

If both drive checks, the complete service duration and the configured buffers fit, the customer can continue. If either side is too tight, the time stays unavailable.

In this illustrative schedule, an 11:00 AM start is offered only when the configured incoming and onward drive-time allowances both fit.

The level of drive-time calculation depends on the CalMov plan and the rules set by the business. Pro can check roads and expected traffic again before a booking is confirmed.

Questions from US mobile businesses

What kind of US business is CalMov designed for?

CalMov is designed for appointment-led businesses that drive to customers, including mobile dog groomers, auto detailers, barbers and stylists, massage and beauty professionals, cleaners and other house-call services. It is currently a particularly good fit for solo operators who want online booking with drive-time-aware availability.

Does CalMov use the customer's ZIP code when showing times?

Yes. For a customer-address service, the booking flow collects the ZIP code and full address before it unlocks live dates and times. CalMov can then use the location, the surrounding schedule and the travel calculation included in the workspace plan when deciding whether a time can be offered.

Is CalMov a full route optimization or fleet-dispatch system?

No. CalMov focuses on making an appointment bookable only when its service and surrounding drives fit. It does not claim to rearrange an entire fleet route automatically. A business that needs work orders, live fleet dispatch or vehicle tracking may need a specialist field-service system.

Will my workspace show prices in dollars?

Yes. A US workspace uses USD for services, customer quotes and CalMov subscription prices. The business country and currency are confirmed during onboarding and then kept fixed to protect existing bookings and billing records.

Can customers pay when they book?

US online payments launch under a separate rollout from CalMov plan billing. When that feature is enabled, an eligible business can connect its own Stripe account and accept payment during booking. Until then, customers can still book online and pay the provider later.
