How to
Can my booking page be at my own web address?
Yes, on Pro and Team. Your booking page can be at an address under your own domain, like book.yourbusiness.co.uk, as well as at your CalMov link, which keeps working.
Which plan
On Pro and Team. The owner and admins can add it. You need a domain your business owns, such as the one your website uses.
What customers see
The same booking page, at your address. Links in your emails, such as Reschedule and Cancel, still open on CalMov's site.
Set it up
Step 1: Open Domains
In Settings, open the Domains tab. It shows on Pro and Team, for the owner and admins.
Step 2: Add your address
Under Take bookings at your own address, enter an address under your domain, like book.yourbusiness.co.uk, and press Add address. Your domain on its own isn't used, so your website stays as it is.
Step 3: Add the record where you manage your domain
CalMov shows a CNAME record: book as the host and the value to point it at. Add it where you manage your domain. If a TXT record is listed too, add that as well. Each has a Copy button.
Step 4: Press Check now
Once the record is in, press Check now. When it says Working, your booking page opens at your address, with its own secure https connection.
Step 5: Share your new link
Booking page, then Share, shows your own address as your booking link. Put it on your website, social profiles and business cards.
Common questions
Does my CalMov link still work?
Yes. Your CalMov link keeps working alongside your own address, so links you've already shared still bring customers to you.
Will it change my website?
No. Your booking page goes on its own address, like book.yourbusiness.co.uk, and your website stays where it is. CalMov won't take the domain on its own.
How long does it take?
Usually a few minutes to an hour after you add the record. Press Check now again later if it still says Waiting for records.
What if I stop using it?
Stop using this address, then Remove address. Within a minute the address stops showing your booking page, and your CalMov link carries on as before.
