House-call massage scheduling in the United States

Booking software for mobile massage and house-call visits

A one-hour massage needs more than a one-hour opening when you bring the table to the client. CalMov helps you protect the session, setup and travel between homes before someone books an appointment you cannot reach.

The scheduling problem

A free start time is not the same as a reachable appointment

Setup takes time at each property

Unloading a table and preparing a room take up time on your schedule even though the hands-on session has not started.

A long session can squeeze the next drive

A 90-minute service needs more room than a 60-minute one. The next client's appointment must remain reachable.

A large service area can create long gaps

Choose coverage you can serve consistently, then use your travel rules to check bookings near the edge of your area.

What CalMov handles

The information used before a customer confirms

1

Separate session durations

Give each published service its own price and duration. Set realistic time for arrival, setup and cleanup around the appointment.

2

Drive time on both sides

When there are bookings before and after, the available time must leave room to arrive from the previous address and reach the next one.

3

Practical visit questions

Ask about parking, stairs or room access before you arrive. Reuse non-clinical logistics in a profile and ask what has changed for this visit.

4

Clear travel fees

On Pro, apply travel-charge brackets to the one-way trip from your base. Clients see any charge separately from the session price in USD.

Customer booking workflow

Let a client book a visit with enough time around it

The booking collects the location and service before showing appointment options.

  1. 1

    Enter the home address

The client supplies the ZIP code and full street address for the house call.

  2. 2

    Choose a session

They select a published service with a defined duration and price.

  3. 3

    Choose an available time

Your hours, breaks and travel calculation determine which appointment options fit.

  4. 4

    Confirm the practical details

The client answers your booking questions and reviews the service price and any travel fee.

Worked booking example

Allowing for a table setup between home visits

This example includes 15 minutes of cleanup and 20 minutes for arrival and setup, in addition to a 60-minute session.

About the example: Illustrative service and travel allowances, not a live route estimate or a suggested treatment protocol. Use your own operating times.

  1. Finish the earlier session

The previous service ends. Fifteen minutes are allowed to clean and pack the equipment.

  2. Drive to the proposed visit

The drive to the next address takes 25 minutes in this example.

  3. Unload and set up

Twenty minutes cover parking, carrying the table and preparing the room.

  4. Begin the session

The proposed service lasts 60 minutes after the arrival and setup allowance.

  5. Clean and pack

Another 15-minute cleanup period protects the time before you leave.

  6. Travel to the next client

A 25-minute drive and 20-minute setup allowance fit before the confirmed 12:30 PM session.

What the example shows

The proposed visit fits because both drives and the setup allowances are included. Choosing a 90-minute session in the same opening would push into the next client's protected time.

Two ways to handle travel

Choose the level of drive-time checking your schedule needs

Drive-time checks decide whether the visit fits. Automatic travel pricing, included on Pro, separately applies your distance or drive-time charge brackets to the trip from your business base to the customer.

Compare the travel method with the operating limits you still need to allow for.

Before you choose

Is CalMov right for you?

CalMov focuses on booking appointments and allowing time for the journey. Check these details if your business also needs repeat schedules, team management or specialist records.

One provider, individually booked visits

One active staff member can take bookings per business during the founder launch. Automated recurring appointments and multi-staff scheduling are not available yet; rebooking reminders email clients a link to book again when they're due.

Scheduling, not clinical records

CalMov can stop a client booking until you've recorded that you've seen their health form, ask private health questions in the form after booking and keep working treatment notes. It does not replace a clinical practice system or determine whether a massage is suitable for a client: keep consent and clinical treatment records in your own clinical system.

Frequently asked questions

Can I offer both 60-minute and 90-minute services?

Yes. Create a separate service for each duration and price. Set the extra time you need for arrival, equipment setup and cleanup so those tasks do not eat into the drive to the next visit.

Can I limit where clients book a house call?

Yes. Set a maximum service distance in miles and, if you need one, a maximum travel time per trip. The client enters their ZIP code and address before seeing availability. A travel fee is separate from coverage: charging more does not make an out-of-area or unreachable appointment bookable.

Can my US customers pay when they book?

Yes. Connect your own Stripe account on an eligible plan to accept online customer payments in USD. Customers can also book and pay you later. See US pricing for the current plan options.
