Toolkit guide
Save customer details with Saved profiles
Saved profiles keeps what a customer tells you about each pet, vehicle, property or person. Returning customers pick a profile instead of typing it all again, and you see a fact sheet on every booking.
Which plan
On every plan, Lite and Pro. Switch on Saved profiles in Toolkit first.
What customers see
On your booking page, a returning customer picks a saved profile, such as their dog or their car, or adds a new one. Anything you asked once and remembered is already filled in. Customers who booked before can get a secure link by email to reuse their details.

Set it up
Step 1: Switch on Saved profiles
Go to Toolkit and switch on Saved profiles. Your trade may call it something else once it's on, such as Pet profiles or Vehicle profiles. Switching it off later hides it and deletes nothing.
Switching a tool on in Toolkit and following Set it up. Recorded with example data. Step 2: Check what a profile is called
Still in Toolkit, look at Names. "What you work on" follows your trade: Pet, Vehicle, Property, Client or Patient. Type your own word and press Save names if you call it something else.
Step 3: Add the questions worth remembering
Under Saved profiles in Toolkit, follow "Set it up in Questions". It opens Booking page › Questions, where your trade's usual questions are listed under "Suggested for". Press one to add it, or press Add a question to write your own.
Step 4: Tick Ask once and remember it
In the question, tick "Ask once and remember it for each pet" (the last word is your own). The answer is saved to the profile, so the customer isn't asked again. Leave it unticked for things that change every visit, then press Add question.
Step 5: Highlight what you must not miss
Open More options and tick "Highlight the answer on the fact sheet" for answers such as allergies. On the booking they show as "Important for this appointment".
Step 6: Let past customers reuse their details
At the bottom of Booking page › Questions, open "Returning customers & vouchers". Keep the "Booked here before?" email recovery option ticked and press Save booking sections. Customers who booked before can then get a secure link by email.
Step 7: Read the fact sheet on a booking
Open any booking from Bookings. The fact sheet shows the saved answers for that pet, vehicle, property or person, with highlighted answers marked "Important for this appointment".
How different trades use it
- Dog groomers
- It's called Pet profiles. Breed and Dog size are asked once and remembered for each dog, while "Coat condition today" is asked at every booking.
- Barbers
- It's called Client cut notes. "Usual cut" is asked once and remembered, so it's on the booking each time the client comes back.
- Car detailers
- It's called Vehicle profiles. "Make and model" and "Vehicle size" are remembered for each vehicle, so a customer with two cars picks the right one.
- Massage therapists
- Client profiles remember "Pressure you like" (Light, Medium or Firm), so you don't ask at every visit.
- Tyre fitters
- Vehicle profiles remember "Tyre size" for each vehicle, while "How many tyres?" is asked at every booking.
Common questions
Is Saved profiles on the free plan?
Yes. Saved profiles is on every plan, Lite and Pro.
Can one customer have more than one profile?
Yes. A customer can have a saved profile for each pet, vehicle, property or person they book for, and picks the right one when booking.
What happens if I switch Saved profiles off?
It's hidden and nothing is deleted. Questions asked when booking that don't change the time or price stop being asked until you switch it back on. Booking page › Questions marks them "Not asked yet: questions when booking need Saved profiles".
Are private answers saved to the profile?
No. An answer to a question marked Private is seen only by the owner and admins and isn't saved to the profile.
How does a returning customer get their saved details?
Customers who booked before can ask for a secure link by email on your booking page. The link lets them reuse their details.
What does "Important for this appointment" mean?
It marks answers to questions where you ticked "Highlight the answer on the fact sheet". They stand out on the booking so you see them before the visit.
