How the estimate works
Transparent assumptions, not a magic price
Count the complete appointment
The occupied time includes service, setup and cleaning, travel before the appointment and travel after it. This prevents an apparently short service from being treated as if it uses only chair time.
Separate revenue from contribution
Revenue per occupied hour uses the full service price. Contribution subtracts the direct consumable, parking, road-charge and mileage costs entered for that appointment, before general overheads and tax.
Treat capacity as a scenario
Daily, weekly, monthly and annual figures assume the calculated appointment capacity is fully booked. They are planning scenarios, not promises of demand or income.
Questions about this planning estimate
How much should a mobile barber charge?
There is no single correct market price. The calculator estimates the price required by the time, direct costs and hourly target you enter. Local demand, experience, service quality and competitors still matter.
Does the result include tax and all business overheads?
No. It includes only the direct appointment costs entered. Accountancy, insurance, marketing, subscriptions, tax and other general overheads need separate consideration.
Why include travel after an appointment?
That journey occupies time that cannot be sold to another customer. It may be a return to base or the journey towards the next appointment.
