Count the whole visit
Hands-on work, processing, setup and travel all occupy your time. This tool assumes you stay for the whole appointment and do not serve another client during processing.
Add the costs you actually pay
Add products, mileage, parking and your share of overheads for one visit. To estimate overhead per visit, divide your monthly fixed costs by the visits you realistically complete. Avoid counting vehicle costs twice.
Choose your own earnings target
Target price equals entered costs plus occupied hours multiplied by your chosen hourly target. This is a planning estimate before tax, not a recommended local market price.
Questions about this planning estimate
Can I use this for a haircut without colour?
Yes. Set processing time to zero. Include your haircut, consultation, setup, cleaning and travel time in the other fields.
Should I charge for colour processing time?
Include it in the time your appointment occupies if you cannot use it for another paid visit. This calculator lets you see the effect on your hourly earnings; you still decide how to present the service price.
Does this price include tax?
No. The estimate covers the costs you enter and the earnings target you choose before tax. Check any tax you need to charge separately and compare customer-facing prices on the same basis.
Will these prices update my CalMov services?
